Cancer Survivors Celebrate their Journeys at Community Healthcare System, Cancer Resource Centre Breakfast
Laughter reverberated through the Professional Building Conference Room at St. Catherine Hospital Sunday morning, as local cancer survivors and their loves ones gathered for the 32nd annual National Cancer Survivors Day Breakfast. They shared pancakes, swapped stories, and celebrated life.
Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the 16th annual Festival of the Lakes ensures everyone is included in the event’s fun and excitement by offering Senior Day to the community. Senior Day, held on Friday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the patio at the Hammond Marina, 701 Casino Center Drive, invites seniors aged 55 and older to come enjoy an afternoon of dancing, a free lunch provided by California Donuts, and music by Pete Carlo Three.
